Changing industrial gear oil must be done according to a standardized procedure to ensure equipment safety and lubrication effectiveness. The following are the systematic operating steps:

Preparation
Power Off and Shut Down: Before changing the oil, be sure to disconnect the power supply to the equipment and ensure the main unit is completely stopped to prevent accidents caused by accidental restarts.

Prepare Tools and Materials:
New Gear Oil (model must match equipment requirements)
Oil collection basin or bucket (for collecting waste oil)
Wrench or socket wrench (matching the drain plug and filler plug specifications)
Function funnel or oil pump (for easy filling)
Personal protective equipment such as cleaning cloths, gloves, and goggles

Preheat Oil Temperature (Optional)
If the equipment has just finished running and the oil temperature is high, you can drain the oil while it's still hot to facilitate the removal of impurities and sediments; however, the temperature should not exceed 50℃ to prevent burns.

Draining the Waste Oil
Locating the Drain Port: Locate the drain plug (usually a hexagonal bolt) at the bottom of the gearbox and place the oil collection basin underneath.

Slowly remove the drain plug. Use a suitable tool to unscrew the drain plug and allow the old oil to drain naturally. Avoid splashing oil and keep the work area clean.

Completely drain. Wait until the oil has completely drained and is dripping. If a large amount of metal shavings or emulsification is found in the oil, further inspect the gear wear.

Clean and replace the seals. After removing the drain plug, clean its surface and the sealing gasket. Replace the seals if necessary to prevent leakage.
